New - The Snake Keeping Website
There is a new site up and running that I really must tell you about.
The site is run by Matt and our own Mike and Adam (Ad-Herons) are mods, so it has all the potential of a really great site!.
It is, as the name suggests, a site dedicated to the keeping of snakes and with the collective experience and collections that the owners of the site have, I am sure that there is going to be plenty of good information and interesting articles.
Well, GO ON! Go have a look and why not make a post to help them along
The Reptile Information Database
We are now linked into the R.I.D.
"The Reptile Information Database (R.I.D) has been constructed in an effort to help sway the spread of negative and inaccurate husbandry information. By condensing the information into an easy to navigate structure, we allow our readers the ability to acquire quality information with little effort on their part.
This information is the result of many different authors (Each given their respected credits.). Each article, guide, and caresheet is a collection of different experiences and practices that have been "proven" to work. The information has only been added to this database after we have had the opportunity to review it and make certain that it will not harm your reptiles.
Reptile husbandry is a process, and like everything else, evolves as time passes. We will continue to add to this database of information as time allows and as new authors submit their work."
I'm sure you will agree that this could prove to become a very valuable resource for all of us.
You can find the R.I.D. here or use the link in the site navigation at the the top of the page
DNS has just completed the usual board update. A few areas may look slightly different from normal but should all work. If you notice any area that isnt working as it should be then please notify either myself or Si or reply to this thread.
For the Arcade nuts out there, the arcade has been updated and Si is in the process of checking all games for savinig. What a job ...
A 3m-long crocodile gave bathers at Cape Vidal beach in the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park the surprise of their lives this week, the Mercury newspaper reported on Tuesday.
Its website said the reptile wandered down in the surf on Sunday, possibly from nearby Lake Bhangazi. It ended up in the main rockpool.
